Happy (Late) Birthday t o Peter!!

Peter celebrated his first birthday in August. He didn't really do much with his cake but we had a fun time celebrating him.

BBP Canada Trip

During August, Becca and the kids went to see Becca's parents in Brampton, Ontario. They had a really fun trip and I was happy to have them back.

Long time no see

We really need to do a better job of updating our blog. This summer was a lot of fun; I enjoyed working at CNM in Salt Lake City and we all had a lot of fun. Becca and the babes returned from Toronto last week and I have recently started my third and final year of law school. Hurray!!

Spring

Bella turns three this summer, and she still loves her binkie. As someone who loved their binkie and still reflexively moves their mouth as if working on a binkie, I have been holding back in taking it away from her. Bella decided that she wanted to give her binkies to the Binkie Fairy so that she could redistribute them to the new babies in area hospitals. So far so good.

Binkies waiting on the threshold

Bella lifted up the box left by the Binkie Fairy to look for her binkies; they were gone.

Thanks to Darlybird, the transition has been relatively smooth. The Binkie Fairy brought earrings, a frog, lip gloss, and games to Bella. She loves her new items. The night of the exchange, Bella told Becca that she wanted the Binkie Fairy to come back with her binkies but that she would not return the Darly items.

Bella in flight.

Misty afternoon.

Peter loves solid foods. He enjoys rice cereal, bread, bananas, and prunes. He is a great eater.

Bella loves the sandbox on our playground. Recently, I have been helping her to build "Doggie Houses" and "Doggie Castles."

Peter's First Visit to the Sea

While in Anaheim, we drove down to Laguna Niguel on Sunday night to watch the sunset. It was a beautiful time.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland last weekend. Bella loved Cinderella, Dumbo, Minnie Mouse, and Chip and Dale's Treehouse. Peter sat in his carseat for a couple of days and Becca and I ate a punch of expensive pizza. All in all, it was a great trip.

Beautiful Bella

Bella has adjusted nicely to being a big sister. She sings songs to him, dances for him, and tells anybody who approaches him that he is her baby brother. She as silly as ever.

Sweet Boy

Peter is a good baby. He is mild, sleeps well, and loves to smile. He was sick for three weeks and finally on our third visit to the doctor, they gave us a nebulizer with instructions to administer albuterol to him. Things cleared up quickly. He submitted to treatment without much of a fight. He is a sweetheart.

Temple Square Christmas Lights

We stayed at our house and opted not to go to the Harmon home at 1760 on Christmas because Bella had symptoms of pink eye. Christmas wasn't quite the same without all of our family. Becca decided that we needed to get out of the house and go to Temple Square. I thought that it was too cold, but she was determined to go. It was FREEZING! We got out of our car, took a couple of pictures, and got back into the car as soon as we could.

We ended the evening by enjoying a dinner at a PACKED Denny's Restaurant; lots of lonely people there that night.
